MISSION
The mission of the General Accountant is to ensure the accurate and efficient management of financial transactions and records, supporting the organization’s financial health through meticulous processing, recording, and reporting of financial activities.
OUTCOMES
Accounts Receivable:
Perform tasks related to billing, recording sales, and issuing invoices.
Manage documentation of sales information.
Supervise issued invoices and follow up on pending payments.
Accounts Payable:
Process and record invoices in the accounting system.
Manage and archive received supplier invoices.
Record employee expense reports.
Prepare a list of invoices to be paid to suppliers for the treasury department to process payments based on account due dates.
Journal Entries:
Accurately enter information into the accounting system and supplementary files, with detailed breakdowns to reflect transaction realities.
Record all transactions performed by the assigned companies.
Keep all accounting ledgers up to date.
Reconcile bank positions and intercompany accounts with other Group companies.
Auditor Requests:
Provide documentation, perform reconciliations, and support throughout the audit procedure.
Administrative Tasks:
Collaborate with the Group's administration department and Store Managers to maintain an up-to-date and accurate accounting control over assigned companies (fixed assets, personnel, inventories, etc.).
Develop and maintain a filing and document management system for assigned companies in alignment with the Group's administration area.
Support all functions derived from day-to-day operations in an international accounting department.

TECHNICAL COMPETENCES / EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance
2-4 years of experience in accounting positions.
Excellent mathematical and advanced excel skills.
Fluent in English and Spanish is a must (C1 level required, other European languages are a plus).
Knowledge in SAP would be an advantage.
Experience with Spanish Local GAAP (PGC) and statutory financial reporting compliance.
